Plain English. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and we tell you exactly what happens to what we do collect.

This Privacy Policy explains how Circle 7 Meats, operated by Circle 7 Livestock, LLC ("Circle 7," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit circle7meat.com (the "Site") or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Online purchases are completed on our storefront at shop.circle7meat.com, which runs on a third-party e-commerce platform (From The Farm). Information you submit during checkout is governed by this policy together with the platform's and its payment processors' own privacy terms.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you select, and the contents of your message. If you contact us about a wholesale or media inquiry, we collect the details you include in that request.
When you place an order on our storefront, you provide the information needed to fulfill and ship it, such as your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, and payment details. Payment card details are processed by the storefront's payment processors and are not stored by us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, when you browse the Site we automatically receive certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and settings, device type, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through analytics and standard server logs.
2. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages visited, time on page, approximate location (derived from IP address), and device information. This data is aggregated and used for statistical purposes; we do not use it to personally identify you.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling cookies will not break the Site, though some features may behave differently.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions, messages, and wholesale or media inquiries;
- Process, fulfill, and ship orders placed on our storefront, and provide order support;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our products;
- Send transactional messages (such as order and shipping updates), and, where you have asked to hear from us, occasional news or offers;
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as needed to run our business and as described below:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, including our website host (Cloudflare Pages), analytics provider (Google), e-commerce and storefront platform and its payment processors, email provider, and shipping and fulfillment partners (including our processor, BarW Custom Meats, and our cold-chain shipping facility);
- Legal and safety purposes, when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Circle 7, our customers, or others; and
- Business transfers, if Circle 7 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information and notify you of any change.
5. Third-Party Links
The Site links to other websites we do not control, including our storefront (shop.circle7meat.com) and our social profiles on Instagram and Facebook. This policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide our products and support, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and the Site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email us at [email protected] and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. As noted above, we do not sell personal information.
You can opt out of any marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing us. Transactional messages about an order you placed are not marketing and may still be sent.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
